Why Choose Meditation?

While the traditional court system is at times necessary for solving family law disputes, many people have found Mediation to be an easier less adversarial solution. If you are considering whether mediation might be right for you consider the following:



Cost: Mediation often costs much less than litigating. While mediation is not a replacement for getting independent legal advice, the costs of hiring a mediator versus the costs of retaining a lawyer is quite significantly lower.


Time Spent: While the process of getting a matter litigated in court can take years to complete, most mediation matters when successful can be resolved in 4-6 weeks.


Control over the Outcome: Mediation allows the participants to have control over the outcome of their settlement. No one else will make the decision for you.


Accessibility: Most mediators have flexible hours of work to accommodate your schedule.
